  This used to be the best Bakery in the Rochester, NY area. But the new generation has ruined it. Everything used to be freshly baked that is no longer the case they were pleasant and courteous and accommodating that is no longer the case. It's very sad because I used to come from Kentucky to get their baked goods when I came home to take back to Kentucky share with my friends there and they loved them. I would be ashamed to do that now. Looking for a good Italian bakery in Rochester New York now because this is no longer the place.

  The italian cookies here are divine, especially the pink frosted cookies! What a staple! The smell stepping into Gruttadauria's will take you right back, there's no place like it. The store is large and bright so you can make your selection easily and the prices are fair especially compared with other local bakeries. I highly recommend.

  Unfortunately my experience with this bakery was not a pleasant one... I called this morning at 9 a.m. to inquire about ordering a box of cupcakes needed for this afternoon by 2:00 p.m. The woman I spoke with over the phone seemed nice & told me that I did not need to place an order for cupcakes that they never run out of those & I could just come later in the afternoon to pick them up... Well it's now 1:45 p.m. & when I go to pick up the cupcakes the women stated that she didn't know who I spoke with but they only sell cupcakes by order only... So off to Weagmans I go. I would not recommend this bakery to anyone.
