  Joe Bean is my favorite coffee shop in Rochester by far. They have the best staff, the best coffee, a great atmosphere, and reliable wifi.
  
  Joe Bean roasts their beans on site and you can even look through a window to see the back room where it is done. When you see the techniques and equipment they use to brew their coffee you would think you’re in a chemistry class – it’s amazing! They often have coffee classes and a variety of blends available at their coffee bar. Check them out, they will open your eyes up to the science and art of coffee brewing. Joe Bean’s cold brew is my favorite, the kyoto is my second favorite.

  Coffee was cold but had an elegant taste. Servers were nice and polite but never asked for cream or sugar. The menu lacked prices and variety. Cute place and great music.

  I loved my visit here. I tried three different coffees, an espresso and to Hario pour-overs, and the pastrami sandwich.
  
  The espresso was impressive, it's hard to pull a shot that tasty, it requires good fresh beans to start with, and from there, you need to both dial in all the equipment, and also really know what you're doing. The pour over was also good, as you could identify notes from different beans as being distinct from one another (I had two different types of beans in two cups).
  
  Sandwich was also good, and I'd probably try the udon next time.
  
  Another note, this place was good for sitting down with a laptop and working for a couple of hours. (I made sure not to mooch, and ordered enough.)
